Oz has recently commented a handful of times on the following: We’ll have entered a room or area outdoors where the light is quite dim, but still good enough to navigate, and then I’ll turn the lights on (or we’ll move along into a brighter area). His comment: “Now all the colors are back again.”
A couple of comments: (a) I don’t recall explicitly taking note of the fact that color is drained in low light until I was maybe a teenager. (b) He says it in a semi-idealist tone — not, “now I can see the colors again”, but “now they are back”.
